Montana's Source for Fresh Roasted, Handcrafted Coffees
Craig Edwards has been making photographs for more than thirty years.  A graduate of Montana
State University's College of Art and a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the
Montana chapter selected him as one of Montana's top ten photographers in 2001.  Since his first
gallery show in 1980, his work has appeared in national and regional publications.  Following college, he
worked as a sharecropper for five years before joining the family farm.

His Fine Art work has been influenced by the prairie landscape and the objects that inhabit it.  These
photographs are not merely factual documents whose meaning and expression come from a simple
recording of the subject.  Instead, they represent the artist's opinion.  They are the result of the
emotion of the photographer and his expression of that feeling.  Each photograph has been
meticulously hand crafted to reflect the vision of the photographer.  None of these images are
"accurate", but all of them are the truth.  The resulting images are at once time-worn and neoteric,
comforting and unfixed.

Craig is a third generation farmer and he and his wife Roberta live in north central Montana near the
town of Big Sandy.  His work can be seen at the Tumbleweed Gallery and Bear Paw Lodge Bakery,
both in Big Sandy, and Medicine River Trading Company in Valier, MT.  His work will be featured
at the Paris Gibson Museum of Art starting November 2006.  An exhibit is currently on display at
Cool Beans Coffee Pub, Great Falls, MT.
