
Artist Biography
At 45, Annette Allen is a visual artist who originates from Havre, Montana. She currently resides in Lincoln Montana
and teaches grades 7-12 at Lincoln Public School. Annette creates a visual world of intrigue through the use of oil,
acrylic, and watercolor paints. Annette is a member of the Montana Art Education Association and the National Art
Education Association. Personal art exhibits have included the Paris Gibson Museum, University of Great Falls Art
Gallery, Dillon Art Museum, Gallery 16 and the Lost Woodsmen Gallery. She devotes much of her time to her
students, the creation of art, and promoting art in a small town atmosphere. While striving to develop her talent,
Annette has explored combining different mediums and techniques. This has allowed a rich tapestry of color to prevail
in her work. The connection to Annette’s family, students, and friends provides spiritual growth and insight. “These
connections provide the fuel and passion to create meaningful artwork and to explore the world of human emotions.”
